Mystic Guild, Nordrassil-EU, Alliance

Welcome to Mystic's website!

Mystic is a pre-TBC guild that successfully managed to overcome the all-social guild composition and reformed into a casual raiding guild in old MC times - summer of '06. In Vanilla World of Warcraft we managed to clear MC, ZG and BWL including Chromaggus. With the expansion we ascended from mediocrity and reformed into a more organized raiding guild but we still valued the social aspect as an important part of our guild. Together we managed to clear all content in The Burning Crusade expansion and progressing through hard modes in current content in Wrath of the Lich King expansion.

We are fully oriented into 25 man raiding. When new content comes, we raid up to 5 days per week from 20.00 server time till midnight, weekends are usually free for 10 man achievement fun or resting. When content is on farm, we minimize raiding days appropriately.

We're looking for an experienced raiders. Your gear together with your gem/enchant choices should reflect your knowledge about your class mechanics in raids. You should have a good knowledge about all the specs and should have no problem respecing if this is required. Having gear for offspecs is a plus.
You should have no difficulty in obtaining gold and you should always have a good stock of consumables.

We are a friendly bunch, but we do take raiding seriously and we'd like you to be prepared and focused. We don't insult or yell at people over vent, but you must be willing to take some constructive critics if you do something wrong. If you will fail somewhere, you will be reminded about it. We expect that you will learn something from that. Being self aware that you failed is a huge bonus. We don't want mindless automaton. Nor we want a mercenary, who's only interest would be getting loot. We want a friendly guy who has no problem being part of the team and making sure that guild and raid interests are above his own.

The trial period takes roughly 1 month and depends entirely on your attendance, raid readiness and awareness, mature attitude and play quality.

Being content with mediocrity will only earn you a spot on the bench.

Before applying make sure you are something that we are looking for. Here are some things we expect you to have or be like:

• You are at least 18 years old.
• You are able to raid at least 3 or more days per week from 20:00 - 00:00 Server Time (we usually don't raid on weekends).
• You have the economy to repair regularly and always bring and use all kinds of consumables without being reminded to.
• You have solid connection and computer.
• You understand English fluently and are able to understand orders on Ventrilo.
• You have experience in endgame raiding.
• You use appropriate gear, gems and enchants for your spec and role.
• You know your class from A to Z, and you can say with a smile on your face that you're good at what you do.
• You have the spec that we need and you would respec if this would help the raid.
• You enjoy your class and role to the max, and don't only play it only for the chance to do endgame raiding.
• You are good at adapting to different kind of situations and can focus on raids.
• You have a high tolerance for humor, you are mature, not often involved in any drama, patient.
• You should enjoy learning new encounters (even if it's whole night of wipes) with the same or better extent as farming old encounters.
• You shouldn’t be bothered if we have a raid-free night for whatever reason (missing proper setup for example).
• You shouldn’t be bothered if your mistakes are pointed out publicly. Understanding ones mistakes is the key to solving them.
• You are not an idiot.

By applying you automatically agree to:

• Visit the forum on a daily basis to keep yourself up to date with guild information, raid tactics and similar stuff.
• Post in our AFK forum every time you are going to be away for a longer period (holiday, trip, etc).
• Reasonably respect the promises you made in your application: time played, good pc/connection, buying consumables. Failure to comply with this can trigger a demotion or reduce your raiding chances greatly.

What else should you know?

• We value honesty above everything else when we read the applications. Whatever your character history was, lying about it won’t get you far.
• The trial period depends entirely on your attendance, readiness and awareness, mature attitude and play quality. Passing a trial and changing those attributes to the worse can trigger a demotion; reduce your raiding chances greatly or eventually removal from the guild.
• We are a friendly bunch, we treat each others as friends, we help eachother out, we like to have fun, we sometimes talk dirty and gossip.

To proceed with your application follow these simple steps:

• Register to our forum with your WoW character name.
• Verify your E-Mail address to gain access to the Applications board
• Read and fill out the application form from topic "Fill this form to apply to Mystic". Show us that you are really interested in joining our guild by filling in all of the questions completely and try to give as much detail as possible. If you don't know the answer to something, say that rather than deleting the question. A good effort is much more likely to let us take you seriously.
• Post filled form to Applications board in topic named with your WoW character name and class.

If you would like to make your application in private, you can also send a PM to Soltari or any other officer over our forums or whisper in-game for further questions.

We will always look at all applications posted by any class. Do not hesitate to apply if you feel that you will make a meaningful and productive addition to our raiding roster.
